Instructions

Step 1
Combine sauce ingredients in a small bowl, and put aside.
Step 2
Place tuna steak on a paper towel and pat dry.
Step 3
Season tuna with salt, pepper, garlic powder, soy sauce, and sugar.
Step 4
Coat tuna with black sesame and white sesame.
Step 5
Add oil, and heat a cast-iron pan hot.
Step 6
Place tuna steaks, sear for about 2 minutes on both sides.
Step 7
Transfer to a cutting board, rest for 3 minutes, and slice.
Step 8
Serve with the sauce and sliced green onion.
