Instructions
Step 1
Cook the spinach in a covered saucepan on medium heat for about 5 minutes

Place the cooked spinach, ginger garlic and chili with 3/4-1 cup of water in a food processor or blender

Blend spinach mixture to thick puree and set aside
Step 4
Heart oil in large heavy based sauce pan
Step 5
Add bay leaves and black peppercorns
Step 6
Fry for 2 minutes over medium high heat
Step 7
Add onion and fry for 6-8 minutes or until browned
Step 8
Add tomatoes and simmer for about 5 minutes
Step 9
Stir in curry powder, salt, and chili powder and cook for 2 minutes
Step 10
Add spinach puree and simmer for 5 minutes
Step 11
Reduce heat to very low simmer and add yogurt
Step 12
Add cubed paneer
Step 13
Simmer until paneer is heated through
