Instructions

Step 1
To make the meatballs, combine meat, garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, eggs, salt, pepper, and a splash of milk in a mixing bowl. Form into small meatballs.
Step 2
Sauté meatballs medium-high heat. Brown, remove and drain on paper towel. Set meatballs aside.
Step 3
In the same pot, add the onions and cook for a few minutes, or until translucent. Pour in whole tomatoes, and pesto.
Step 4
Add salt, pepper, and sugar. Stir to combine and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes with the meatballs. Serve sauce and meatballs over pasta.
