Ingredients
6 servings

2 poundsbroccoli florets

2 tblsoil

2 tspsesame oil

2 tspminced garlic

1 tblsred wine vinegar
or rice wine vinegar

1 tsplemon juice

1 tblssoy sauce
use tamari or Braggs Liquid Aminos if you want gluten free

1 tspwhite and black sesame seeds

1 tspchilli garlic sauce
or some other spice, this is optional

Instructions
Step 1
Blanch the broccoli by bringing a large pot of water to a boil and adding in salt. Boil the florets for 1 minute and then run it under cold running water. Drain the broccoli very well and put it to the side.
Step 2
Using a smaller pot, brown the minced garlic in the olive oil. Remove it from the heat and add in the sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, lemon juice, soy sauce, black and white sesame seeds, and chili pepper flakes.
Step 3
Combine the broccoli with the dressing and salt and pepper to taste. Put into a bowl or zip lock bag and let it sit in the fridge for around an hour and then serve cold or at room temperature. If you're impatient, serve it whenever it's cold enough for your liking.
