Soup Base

1red bell pepper
chopped

1yellow bell pepper

1 poundground beef

16 ozspicy sausage

1 tablespoongarlic salt

1 tablespoongarlic powder

1 teaspoonchili powder

1 teaspoonoregano

½ teaspooncreole seasoning

½ teaspoonsalt

1 tablespoonblack pepper

½ teaspoononion powder

½ teaspoonpaprika

1 candiced tomatoes

3 cupspasta sauce

1 cartonchicken broth

0.5 cartonbeef broth

1 tspgarlic powder

½ tsporegano

½ tspseason salt

onion powder

italian seasoning

1 boxlasagne noodles

2 cupsheavy cream
Ricotta Cheese Base
Instructions
Soup Base
Step 1
Prepare your veggies in a large saucepan. Once veggies are nicely done, set aside for use later. In same pan, brown both meats. Season to your liking. Once meat is done cooking, drain excess oil if necessary.













Step 2
Place seasoned meat and veggies in a large pot. Stir in ragu & tomatoes and bring to a slight boil.

Stir in both broths, season a little more to your liking, and then bring base to a boil once more.





Step 4
Once base is brought to a boil, break lasagne pieces into your soup base. Simmer heat a little and let base sit for about 12 minutes for noodles to cook.

Step 5
Once noodles are done. Stir in heavy cream. Let soup sit and boil for a few more minutes while you prepare your ricotta base!

Ricotta Cheese Base
Step 6
In a mixing bowl, add in your cheeses and seasonings. Mix together till fully combined.
Step 7
Once cheese mixture is finished, add in about 4 tablespoons of mixture into your soup base and stir. Once fully combined, serve soup with toppings of your liking (ricotta mixture, sour cream, cheddar cheese, etc)
