Ingredients
2 servings
2 packetsNoodles
2 cupswater
hot
1 teaspoonpaprika spice
1 teaspoonchilli flakes
½ teaspoonblack pepper corn
2 teaspoongarlic
crushed
1whole onion
sliced in half
1whole bell pepper
sliced into thin Juliet slices
3whole carrots
peeled and cut into thin Juliett slices
2 tablespoonbutter
½ tablespooncanola oil
for stir frying
2 teaspoonsalt
1 teaspoonparsley
dried or fresh
4 tablespoonschutney
1 cupnoodle water
hot, to help with the blending
1 teaspoonDurban curry spice
Instructions
Step 1
-Start by smoking your paprika, black pepper and chilli flakes on a hot pan. Smoke only until brown(Max5-Min)
Step 2
Remove the pan smoked spices and leave some for flavouring the oil. In the same hot pan add oil and heat up to a hight temp
Step 3
Add first your bell pepper and saute for 2 minutes. Followed by sliced onions and saute some more. Add garlic, 1 tablespoon of butter, salt, half of the pan smoked spices and saute some more
Step 4
Add your carrots and saute only for 3 minutes as to not overcook the ingredients. Add your chutney, parsley and the rest of smoked spices. Add a little bit of hot water if you feel like your ingredients are about to stick into the pan
Step 5
Meanwhile, put your noodles in your 2 cups of water to start the cooking process. When the noodles are halfway cook remove them immediately but save some of the noodles hot water.
Step 6
Add your noodles into the rest of the ingredients in the pan and mix gently adding some of the noodle water and the rest of the butter
Step 7
Serve immediately and thank your chef❤️
