Instructions
Step 1
Heat and coat a pan with oil

Add onions, garlic, tomatoes, and 2 red chilis in the pan

Add required amount of salt

Saute and wait until the tomato paste thickens

Add cilantro and mix well
Step 6
Transfer the contents to a blender and blend till you get a smooth puree

Add 2 tbsp oil to a pan
Step 8
Add mustard seeds, urad dal, asafoetida, curry leaves and a red chili
Step 9
Once the mustard seeds start sputtering, add tomato puree and mix well
Step 10
Serve hot with dosa or idli
