Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F

Step 1
Cream together butter & sugar until light & fluffy.; scrape sides. Add eggs, vanilla, & almond extract; beat until mixed, scraping sides
Step 2
Add flour, & baking powder; mix until thoroughly combined.
Step 3
Scoop out 1/4C dough per cookie & roll into a ball. (Place 6 cookie per pan.
Step 4
Flatten each cookie by gently pressing bottom of drinking glass down on center of each dough ball.
Step 5
Bake (9-11 min.) until centers have puffed up & are no longer glossy.
Step 6
While the cookies are cooling, make the frosting.

Frosting

Step 7
Cream butter until smooth. Slowly add powdered sugar, almond extract, & milk until smooth & creamy. Add 4 drops of neon pink food coloring; mix.
Step 8
Spread on still slightly warm cookies (this will melt frosting slightly which will give it a nice smooth finishing look.)
Step 9
Once cookies have completely cooled, chill in fridge until ready to serve. Served chilled.
