Instructions

Step 1
Drizzle olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Step 2
Add onions, garlic, and salt.

Saute for 2-3 minutes.

Add beef. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking the pieces up with a spoon or spatula while cooking.

Add all remaining ingredients except for cilantro.
Step 6
Stir to combine.
Step 7
Reduce to a simmer and allow to cook for at least 30 minutes and up to 1 hour.
Step 8
Serve with chopped fresh cilantro.
