Tomato & Harissa Gnocchi Bake

Instructions

Step 1
Chop the chorizo into rough chunks. Fry the chorizo for a few minutes to release the oil. Dice the onion and sauté in oil for 2-3 mins
Step 2
Add garlic, red chilli and seasonings, saute for a further 1-2 mins
Step 3
Add tomato passata, harissa paste and mascarpone. Stir well to combine all ingredients. Cook in medium heat for 4-5 mins. (Add a little water to loosen if becomes too thick.)
Step 4
Cook gnocchi in separate pan.
Step 5
Add cooked gnocchi into sauce then transfer into an ovenproof dish. Top with chunks of mozzarella and basil. Bake in a preheated oven on the top shelf at 180℃ for 15 minutes.
