Tomato Shrimp Scampi with Fettucine

Instructions

Step 1
Cook fettucine for 8 min, or until tender but still firm. Drain well, keep warm
Step 2
Saute garlic in olive oil for 2 minutes, add tomatoes, cook 5 min.
Step 3
Pour vermouth or wine and lemon juice in pan, add sugar, simmer 6 minutes.
Step 4
Add scallions, shrimp, and red pepper flakes. Cook until shrimp turn pink, about 3 minutes.
Step 5
Stir in basil and parmesan. Toss with Fettucine and serve immediately
