Step 1
Before doing anything!!! -- preheat oven to 320 degrees F and grease 8" pan 1. Microwave milk and vanilla in bowl for about 45 seconds after whisking
2. Add cocoa powder to mixture after heating
3. Whisk well
4. Add your sugar -- mix well because sugar substitutes don't dissolve as quickly or as well as regular
5. Add egg and whisk until smooth
6. Add dry ingredients -- oats and baking soda (for the oats, blend in processor or blender until slightly thick flour)
7. Whisk well and quickly once you have added the baking soda
8. Pour mixture into pan and bake for 35 minutes or so
