Step 1
Slice the onions roughly.

Clean the fava beans and boil them in salty water until they are soft. Strain and let cool.

Slice the pancetta.

Warm up some olive oil in a pan and the add the onions and the bacon. Stir for a couple of minutes.

Add the fava beans, stir for a minute and then pour the white wine into the pan.

When the alcoholic part of the wine is completely evaporated, add some salt and pepper. Stir and decrease the heat.
