Ingredients

3avocados
large, ripe but not squishy
1lime
juice from, plump
¾ tspsea salt
1 cupgrape tomatoes
finely diced, or plum tomatoes
½ cupred onion
finely minced, fine
½ cupfresh cilantro
chopped, or a mix of cilantro and another herb, mint, parsley or basil
1jalapeno pepper
small, finely minced
1 tspminced garlic
¼ tspground cumin
cayenne pepper
or more if you like heat
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and pit avocados. Scoop avocado flesh into a medium bowl. Add lime juice and salt. Using a potato masher, mash well but leave some lumps.
Step 2
Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Cover with plastic wrap, pressing down lightly on the guacamole to create a tight air-free seal.
Step 3
Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
Makes about 2 1/2 cups guacamole.
