Instructions
Step 1
Start by scoring the skin part of the salmon & season with the listed seasoning
Step 2
In a skillet over medium-high heat heat add the olive oil. Once add the salmon skin side down

Step 3
Sear until the skin is nice & crispy then flip. Low heat to medium. Add the butter and baste the salmon
Step 4
Remove the salmon once fully cooked. (About 4-5 minutes each side )To that same pan add your shallots, garlic, green onions and red pepper flakes.

Step 5
Sauté until fragrant then deglaze with the honey bourbon. allow the alcohol to cook off.
Step 6
Add the brown sugar, honey, dry thyme and ginger powder. stir until it begins to thicken. Then turn off heat. If it gets to thick thin it out with water. Just a little will do

Step 7
Serve the salmon with sauce over rice or mashed potatoes! Enjoy
