Instructions
Step 1
Loosely chop eggplant and carrots into chunks. Cut the ends off of the beans and loosely slice them. Chop onions into rings. Cut a mediun tomato as finely as possible.
Step 2
Oil the one pot with 4 tsp of oil. Add onions to the pot and saute for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add in all other vegetables.
Step 4
Add 2 spoons of coriander powder, 1/4 spoon turmeric powder, 1 spoon chili powder (1 spoon per 2 spoons of coriander powder), and one small spoon of kolumbu powder.
Step 5
Add 1/2 cups of washed daal and 1 and 1/2 cups of water.
Step 6
Cook for 45 minutes on soup mode.
Step 7
Add 1 tbsp of salt and 1/2 spoons of methi powder when done cooking. Add more salt and spice to taste.
Step 8
Serve in pot.
