1. Combine dry ingredients together

2. Combine milk, egg & vanilla together

3. Melt the 3 tablespoons of butter

4. Combine all ingredients together in a bowl with a electric mixer (or wooden spoon if you're strong)

5. Place a bit of solid butter on the pan and heat up a pan on medium high heat. (I use a steel pan) Try not to burn the butter.

6. Place about a 1/4 cup of batter to the pan when it's reached a good temperature. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes each side, or enough time for bubbles to form on top and the sides of the pancake have cooked. Flip the pancake and cook for about 1-2 minutes on the other side for optimal results.
