Chocolate Blueberry Oatmeal

High protein & plant based creamy oats that are perfect to start your day!

Ingredients:
40g (~1/2 cup) oats
30g (~1 scoop)
* chocolate flavoured pea protein isolate (can sub for other chocolate vegan/whey protein OR extra oats + 15g (~1 tbsp) sweetener/ sugar + 5g (~1 tbsp) cocoa powder)
5g (~1/2 tbsp) chia seeds
1 + 1/4 cup dairy/plant milk
Blueberries
1 tbsp chocolate sauce OR 5g (~1 tbsp) cocoa powder + 1 tbsp hot water/milk + 1 tsp maple syrup
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients except chocolate sauce & blueberries together. Optional: pour into a blender and blend till smooth. Microwave some blueberries till soft (approx 30 secs - 1 min). Cook on low-medium heat for 5-10 minutes (longer for thicker oats) while gently stirring; while cooking, fold in the microwaved blueberries. Pour into a bowl. Top with extra blueberries & chocolate sauce before serving!
