One Pan Shrimp with Buttery Orzo, Asparagus & Dill - building flavour along the way in one pan… These. Flavours. Are. Nuts. Easy clean up, super tasty dish = winner dinner 🍽 ✅ Ingredients ⬇️ (serves 2 people) 3/4-1 lb shrimp, raw & deveined 1 bunch asparagus 1 shallot, minced 3 garlic cloves, minced 3 knobs of butter 1 cup orzo 1/3 cup white wine 2 cups veg/chicken stock 1/4 cup parmesan, grated Zest and juice of a lemon Fresh dill Salt and pepper to taste Preparation ⬇️ 1. Pat dry your shrimp (I used the raw, red Argentinian shrimp from ) and season with salt and pepper on both sides 2. Add butter to medium heat pan and sear for 30 seconds on each side - place to the side (you don’t want to over cook here) 3. Chop asparagus into thirds and throw into same pan - sautée for 2-3 min (or until desired tenderness) and then place to the side 4. Add a touch more butter if you need, and then throw in minced shallots, garlic, sautée for 1 min 5. Add orzo, stir, toast for 1-2 min 6. Deglaze with white wine, stock, and stir occasionally for 5-10 min until all liquid is absorbed and orzo is al dente (add more liquid if needed) 7. Finish with Parmesan, lemon zest and juice, dill

Instructions

Step 1
