Instructions
Step 1
In a saucepan add mushrooms and allow them to ooze out excess water. Heat another pan, add 2 tbsp of oil.
Step 2
Now add the dry spices and let them infuse in the oil. Add the chopped onions and green chillies, saute onions until golden brown (splatter water to avoid sticking to pan).
Step 3
Add 1 tsp of ginger and garlic paste, saute until the raw smell of the paste is gone . Now add 1 bell pepper to the pan.
Step 4
Turn the heat to medium-high. Add tomato and stir it for 2 minutes, and add 1 ½ tsp chilli powder and ¼ tsp of turmeric powder and let it cook for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Now add the mushrooms to the pan and let it cook for 5 mins, add ½ tsp of salt (adjust as per your taste).
Step 6
Simmer the flame and garnish with 5-6 grated cashews and let it rest for 5 mins.
