Ponzu Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl

This is my take on the Hawaiian dish, Poke. I combined all my favorite proteins and toppings I usually get from Poke shops in the city (NYC).
This poke bowl is filled with spicy and fresh flavors and crunch!

Instructions
Ponzu Ahi Tuna
Step 1
Dice ahi tuna into half inch pieces
Step 2
In a bowl combine ponzu sauce, lime juice, hot honey and ahi tuna. Allow the ahi tuna to marinate while the rest of the poke bowl is prepared.
Kani Salad
Step 3
Shred crab sticks by hand
Step 4
In a bowl combine kewpie mayo, sriracha, mirin and shredded crab. Set the kani salad aside while the rest of the poke bowl is prepared.
Spicy Ponzu Sauce
Step 5
In a bowl combine ponzu sauce, warm water, mirin, wasabi, hot honey, sesame seed oil and mix.
Spicy Mayo Sauce

In a bowl combine kewpie mayo, sriracha, mirin, and mix
Sushi Brown Rice
Step 7
Rinse rice under water until the water runs clears.
Step 8
In a medium pot bring rice, 1.75 cup of water and avocado oil to a boil.
Step 9
After it boils, lower the heat to low and cover for 45 minutes.
Step 10
Fluff with a fork
Assemble

In a shallow bowl add sushi brown rice, top with ponzu ahi tuna and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds
Step 12
Surround ponzu ahi tuna with kani salad, seaweed salad, shredded red cabbage, steamed edamame, diced mango, diced shallots, sliced scallions, crispy garlic, sliced serrano pepper and diced avocado.
Step 13
Drizzle with spicy ponzu and spicy mayo.
Step 14
Sprinkle with Furikake (Japanese rice seasoning made up of dried seaweed, sesame seeds, kelp, etc)
