Instructions
Step 1
Rinse and pat dry chicken breasts.
Step 2
Add olive oil to skillet and sear chicken on medium-high heat, 4-5 minutes.
Step 3
Season top of chicken and flip; season opposite side, 4-5 minutes.
Step 4
Add chicken, sliced sausage, heavy cream, chicken broth, butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper and creole seasoning to crockpot.
Step 5
Set crock pot to high for 2.5 hours (or low for 5 hours).
Step 6
Remove whole chicken breasts from crock pot; stir.
Step 7
Put half cup of water in crockpot and add pasta; stir.
Step 8
Leave in crock pot for 30 minutes.
Step 9
Stir cheese in to crock pot and add back sliced chicken.
Step 10
Continue in crock pot for 15 minutes; add salt and pepper as needed.
