Spanish Rice Recipe

As easy as the instructions say and is absolutely delicious 👍👍

I made a lot of extra to have for a meal tomorrow. It definitely was yummy!

This was okay. I would have enjoyed some heat in it. It was just a bit bland. Next time, I may throw in some jalapenos and onion.

I make this rice every time we have a big family gathering! So simple and delicious! I put in 4 cups of water and then add 3 teaspoons of chicken bullion. I also add fresh cilantro on top at the end. Very delicious!

Spanish Rice Notes: 4 cloves of garlic Vegetable bouillon(4 tsp) 1/2 cumin 1/2 cumin seeds 1/4 black pepper 1/2 tsp salt 3 C Water (not 4)

This is a good base recipe. I usually make this with Better Than Bouillon instead of the bouillon cubes. One time I didn't have tomato sauce so I used salsa and it was very delicious.

I used 3 cups of water and the can of tomato sauce so it's not wet. I've tried it with both chicken bullion and tomato bullion and I prefer the tomato.

Made it just as instructed; I was missing tomato sauce from my cupboard, but I did have tomato paste, so I used 1/2 cup tomato paste and 1/2 cup water to equal 1 cup of tomato sauce. I used chicken broth instead of water+bullion and it came out perfect! My rice usually ends up mushy, but this was good and fluffy.

One recommendation - stick with your rice's normal liquid ratio (often 2:1 water:rice). Pour the tomato sauce into your measuring cup them add water to get to the right amount. Recipe has you use full amount of water AND add tomato sauce. It's too wet/mushy this way. Otherwise a fantastic recipe.

We made this with tacos and we loved it! The only thing we did different was we cooked ours in an instapot and it was don in like 10 minutes but yeah, 10/10 would recommend!
