Easy Beef and Broccoli

Added sesame seeds and fresh coriander at the end

Was okay, but forgot the ginger and was a little chewy

Great recipe. I added bok choy, carrots and snap peas to mine. Doubled the sauce. Go-to for sure. It is quite salty - I wouldn’t add salt to it and definitely use the low sodium soy sauce.

It was good added a couple of table spoons of water put a lid on it and steamed the broccoli. Make sure your meat cut small. It tasted very good. I also did add less soy sauce them recommended only cause I ran out and added sweet chili sauce miso. A bit of water served alone and with white rice. Oh and I did add extra cornstarch on the beef!

Too salty even with low sodium soy sauce. Prep took a long time because I used a whole London Broil and had to slice and cut.

Shave the steak.

Less cornstarch, soy sauce (maybe), chili sauce.

Came out delicious, kids ate it all with wanting more so next time I have to make extra

Used regular soy sauce and didn't find it too salty, I just used a little bit less than the recipe required, also added a bit more ginger

I used ginger paste instead of grated ginger. I used 1 tablespoon of ginger paste and that was way too much ginger. If you’re using ginger paste I’d recommend using even less than a tablespoon. Everything else is perfect!

The sauce was very good, a perfect balance, not too salty and not too sweet. I halved the ginger and added 1tsp. of red pepper flakes

It was delicious and very easy! I used a pre-chopped vegetable mix of onions, carrots and celery that worked well!

definitely delicious! be sure to use low sodium light soy sauce as regular soy sauce really over powers the flavor. i diluted the regular soy sauce i had with some water but it still came out a tad too salty. other than that, super easy dish, minimum prep, and is a super meal on its own. really recommend, and definitely adding to my weekly dishes to get better at cooking it!!

It is great! Calories is to much, and sugar need low, but it's delicious! And I change beef to venison (deer).

This was REALLY good. Not overly complicated, and simple to prep. I added zucchini since I had some, but could see myself easily adding other veggies like water chestnuts and red bell pepper or baby corn to this dish. I used sesame oil instead of cooking oil, really pulled the flavors out! Put over arugula and basmati rice and topped with matchstick carrots and sesame seeds!

I've made different beef and broccoli recipes before but this one was amazing!! The recipe was really easy to follow, I would just recommend adding some sesame oil and a bit of oyster sauce for some extra flavour.

Cooked it separately from the broccoli for the kiddo. Only had regular soy sauce so it was a tad salty but not unbearable; will probably do regular soy sauce and water. I feel like 3T of cornstarch was too much and resulted in a bit of a gluey gravy which may also be a result of me not combining the broccoli. Will make again with tweeks.

We got a flank steak that was pre scored (I almost thought we accidentally got ground meat when I opened it, but it was all still connected to itself). This made for a super tender meat! Sauce was really delicious and easy. All in all, super good and quick!

Used less ginger than called for but this will be a regular rotation meal!

Delicious. Used a heavy tablespoon of maple syrup instead of the sugar because I was feeding it to my daughter. Even that could have been cut in half. Really delicious though.

I used honey instead of brown sugar (and halved it). Really good!

I would add red pepper flakes or chili sauce or chili paste to the sauce. I would also consider doubling the sauce to make more.. .maybe without doubling the brown sugar. I would also like to use a less expensive cut of meat and maybe marinate it overnight. But this would all increase the hands on time and simplicity of ingredients.

I skipped the step, saying to take the meat out. Served with mash potatoes. Definitely will make this again.

Used angus beef and didnt add ginger and everything tasted great! I cooked the broccoli for a good amount of time and it paired well with the beef and added rice. 👍

My family really liked this dish but I couldn't get the low sodium soy sauce so it was alittle salty. Will definitely make again but with the right soy sauce!

I would add a little spice - like dried chili

Ridiculously easy. I made this with frozen onions and broccoli. No plan-ahead prep required other than slicing the meat potentially.

I used fresh Broccoli and it was still a bit too crunchy so I would cook it a little longer next time. I didn't have ginger but still enjoyed the flavor without it.

So delicious. I didn’t add ginger as I didn’t have any. Put with side of rice. Super fast and easy to make.

Delicious!! Loved it. Personally I like a little bit of black pepper on top too!

Made with no changes. Followed the suggestion to blanch the broccoli to retain its color. Served with white rice.

Next time I would add more broccoli
