They were great and easy to make

A bit too sugary and hard but very delicious

I added in about a tablespoon of cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of milk. Nice crispy edges and soft center. So good!

I had to add 1/4 cup of water to the batter because it was too dry.

I found them crumbly before baking but these are good. Maybe add some more liquid somehow.

Absolutely TO DIE FOR! I made my cookies a big bigger and still got a whopping 24 cookies from the recipe. Skipped the nuts and added Himalayan Pink Salt on top instead. Love these!

I added a splash of oat milk to the batter because it was too dry but came out perfect.

After trying many chocolate chip cookie recipes, this one is my favorite. It yields 5 1/2 doz. cookies with a 1 Tbsp. scoop. I baked them at 375°F for 14 minutes. I skipped the nuts.

I think the cookies turned out well. I gave them to my brother and his friend. They both really liked them, but they said the base was dry. But I don't think that can be changed. I'd happily make them again!

This is identical to the ones on all the chocolate chips bags I've seen but one thing! This recipe has one less egg. I cooked mine in 1/8 cup scoops, filling a full sized sheet with 12 cookies - @ 335° for maybe 14 minutes. I'd just follow the recipe on the bag to keep it easier to remember... but also, here are some tips: - use a little extra salt - use a little less white sugar - use dark brown sugar instead of light - you could even add molasses if you need more complexity. Oh, also, if you are feeding a larger group than 6, I'd triple the recipe at least.

Used 1/2 cup white sugar and 2 eggs bc of other people’s comments on here. I got ~60 small cookies (little bigger than a teaspoon scoop) and baked for 9 minutes and let them sit for 2 minutes. Turned out really good!

I halved this recipe and it came out perfect, simple and easy to make, I had no issues with baking this. Will definitely try again with different flavors.

I used 1/2 cup white sugar and 2 eggs per other people's suggestions. I also used 1 1/3 cup milk chocolate chips. I also chilled the cookie dough for 30 mins as well as between batches. thos made 36 small/medium cookies.Perfection 🤩

My ice cream scoop is a bit larger than the ones other have so I had to cook them longer but my family LOVES them. They’re very tasty and the outsides are crunchy but the center is gooey!

I used half of the ingredients to make a smaller batch and only 3/4 of the sugar so 75g. I also only used brown sugar and less chocolate chips. Next time I'd use slightly less butter but turned out perfect for us. Crunchy biscuit texture and not too sweet

First time making cookies from scratch, I thought they turned out perfect. Honestly, some of the best homemade cookies I've ever had, if I do say so myself.

I love these this is the recipe I've used for years

I found the batter to be REALLY sticky and hard to work with. The first batch of cookies were all right, but they get really hard quickly. So I wouldn't want to eat them unless they were fresh out of the oven. Subsequent batches burned on the outside too quickly and were really crunchy. So if you need to make more than one batch (I got about 40 cookies from the recipe), you MUST let the baking sheet cool completely.

Definitely needs 2 eggs otherwise the better is too dry.

Based on reviews I reduced granulated sugar to 1/2 cup. Mine are delicious and sweet! I love them!

They were good my first batch was amazing the other burnt but that was my fault I left it in for to lang then the others but otherwise they turned out great!

This is legit the 1st cookie recipe I ever made as a child. We never put in the nuts, but it always came out perfect. I'm not sure what the other folks did, but y'all need to give it another shot. DON'T USE MARGARINE! Do cream the butter and sugar 1st. I always make a double or triple batch of dough to put in the freezer. I just scoop out what I need and return it to the freezer.

I'm indifferent with this one. The batch as a whole was okay but I'm surprised at how sweet it was I'm confused why anyone hasn't said anything. I already reduced the sugar to 1/4 cup and the salt at only 1/4 tsp. But 2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips were too much for the batter that every bite I took it's just the chocolate chips. And this really made them too sweet. If I was giving the recipe another try in the future I'd probably reduce the brown sugar as well and/or skip the whole granulated sugar altogether. Also, reduce chocolate chips to just 1 cup or stick to 2 cups and doubling all the other ingredients, making it two batches.

Added only 1/4 cup of granulated sugar and it was amazing. For the next time I would add a little less salt than in the recipe. It's so important not to overbake them!

These are the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever made.

Baked 9.5 minutes. On the chocolate chips I did a cup each of semisweet and milk. They were very soft, and everyone loved them.

These cookies are amazing!!! They are moist and creamy I only use Nestle semi sweet chocolate chips! I lo e the flavor of mill chocolate but it makes the cookies more flat. I still figuring that out. But my family and I love them so much!!! Seconds really matter when it comes to baking time, I made a half rounded tablespoon amount of dough for 9 1/2 minutes. They look light brown and will finish cooking themselves to perfect during the cooling time.

Definitely better with nuts. Used walnuts halfway through. Wouldn't mind trying with a little less sugar. Coworkers enjoyed.

These taste just like how my Mom always made them. If you want really thick soft cookies, don’t mix the final ingredients a lot. Refrigerate the mix for about 1 hour. Then I used an ice cream scoop. When baking cookies, I never go by time, use your judgement on the look of the cookie. If you aren’t sure how they will bake , do a practice bake with 2 or 3 and then eat them hahaha. That’s the best way to figure out the timing. Take them out when you see a little browning on the side towards the bottom. Don’t worry about the top not being done. Leave them on the pan for about ten minutes after you take them out, they will finish baking. If these strangely make it to a week old, pop it in the microwave for like 10 seconds. One more thing that helps, if you don’t have a flat sideless cookie pan, use your sheet pan and flip it upside down and use parchment paper. This helps the cookies to bake evenly and correctly. It does make a difference.
