Instructions

Step 1
OIl the waffle iron well in both sides and preheat for at least 5 minutes
Step 2
Make the buttermilk by mixing the milk and vinegar in a cup
Step 3
Melt the butter and oil, let it cool and mix with the milk
Step 4
In a large bowl, mix the flours, flax seed, sugar, cinnamon, salt and baking powder
Step 5
Combine the buttermilk with the dry ingredients and mix well. The butter should have a thick consistency and be more scoopable than pourable.
Step 6
Scoop the butter into the waffle iron, and bake until no steam comes of the waffle maker
