Step 1
Cut the green onions into bite-sized pieces.

Thinly slice half of an onion.

Rinse and slice the fermented kimchi.

Thinly slice one red chili pepper.

In a large bowl, put 1 cup of flour and 1 cup of frying powder. Gradually add 1 and 3/4 cups of cold water while stirring with a whisk to create a smooth batter.

Preheat a pan and add 2 tablespoons of oil. Pour a suitable amount of batter into the pan and spread it evenly. Cook each side over medium heat for about 4 minutes or until the bottom becomes crispy and golden brown. Flip it once in the middle. Cook the other side for about 4 minutes as well.
