Instructions

Step 1
In a bowl, combine together the miso paste, heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Set this aside.
Step 2
In a pot with boiling water, boil your noodles for ~2 mins. Remove the udon noodles and reserve 1/4 cup of the boiling liquid.
Step 3
In a pan over medium low heat, fry your bacon until crispy.
Step 4
Remove the crispy bacon from the pan but leave the remaining fat.
Step 5
Sauté the minced garlic in the bacon fat for 60 seconds.
Step 6
Add black pepper and your udon noodles.
Step 7
Stir fry the noodles for 2 minutes to evenly coat the noodles in the garlic and black pepper bacon fat.
Step 8
Remove the pan from the heat.
Step 9
Add in the cheese mixture you made previously.
Step 10
Toss the udon noodles in the cheese mixture with 1 tbsp of boiling liquid to create a smooth sauce. Add more boiling liquid if the sauce is too thick.
Step 11
Add back in the crispy bacon.
Step 12
Serve with furikake and enjoy!
