These chicken tacos are inspired with a middle eastern flair. There is spice, sweetness, savory and deliciousness all wrapped up into a taco! This might not be a traditional way but it is taste amazing and has some big flavors.

Ingredients

For the marinade
1 cupplain yogurt
unsweetened
1 tspgarlic powder
1 Tbsppomegranate molasses
or balsamic fig reduction
2 tspcumin powder
2 tsppaprika
1 tspcayenne pepper

1 ½ tsponion powder
½ tspBlack Pepper
1 ½ tspsalt
1 TbspLemon Juice
2 Tbspolive oil
2 Tbsphoney

For the Yogurt Sauce
Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl mix together all your marinade ingredients. Add the chicken and mix to coat well.

cayenne pepper1 tsp

Step 2
Cover and marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 3 hours, 24 hours is ideal.

Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees.

Step 4
Add your marinated chicken bites onto a skewer and air fry for about 20 minutes. If you don't have skewers, you can place in the air fryer and turn every 5 minutes.
Step 5
You want to cook the chicken until you start to see some charred bits (char is good!). Remove and slice chicken off the skewers.
Step 6
Mix together all the ingredients for the yogurt sauce.

Mix together your Gochujang sauce and cumin to create a spicy paste.

To build your taco, take 1 tortilla and spread 1 tbsp of your Gochujang mixture over the bottom.

Next add some shredded lettuce, a few slices of cucumber, then your chicken, some diced tomatoes, and your yogurt sauce.

You can also squeeze a little lemon juice on top. Enjoy!
