Instructions

Step 1
Boil water and put pasta in
Step 2
Place pumpkin seeds on empty pan (no oil) and roast until they are frequently popping
Step 3
finely chop half onion
Step 4
heat up oil/butter and add onion, cook on low heat until transparent
Step 5
add minced cloves of garlic
Step 6
Season. Personally, I add 2 teaspoons of herbs (oregano, Italian seasoning, basil), small amount of turmeric and smoked paprika, salt and pepper as preferred and cayenne pepper
Step 7
add 3-4 tablespoons of greek yoghurt to onion and garlic
Step 8
add roasted pumpkin seeds and almonds
Step 9
Add tomato paste/sauce until the sauce is of an orange colour
Step 10
(optional) add cheese or any other preferred toppings
