2 cupsall-purpose flour
3 tablespoonssugar
2 teaspoonsbaking powder
½ teaspoonsalt
3eggs
large, separated
2 cupswhole milk
¼ cupcanola oil
2 teaspoonvanilla
CINNAMON CREAM SYRUP
Instructions
WAFFLES
Step 1
In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Step 2
Combine the egg yolks, milk, vanilla, and oil
Step 3
stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients just until moistened.
Step 4
In a small bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form
Step 5
Fold egg meringue into waffle batter (1/3 at a time).
Step 6
Bake in a preheated waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions.
CINNAMON CREAM SYRUP
Step 7
Combine sugar, corn syrup and water in a saucepan.
Step 8
Bring to a boil over medium heat
Step 9
Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened
Step 10
Remove from the heat
Step 11
Stir in the milk, vanilla and cinnamon
Step 12
Serve with waffles.
