Cilantro Lime Chicken Rice Bowl

Freshly cooked rice with crispy air fryer chicken, topped with a delicious sauce and all the fixings...you really can't go wrong! I had a lot of fun making this recipe. It's quite literally a "rice bowl". Now you don't have to make your bowl out of rice, but it was a fun experience and a different way to enjoy one of my favorites! For the rice bowl, I added a ramekin upside down inside the bowl. Then I packed it with rice and flipped it over to create a real bowl made out of rice! Instructions

Step 1
Optional: Fresh rice is best, so it's best to start the rice first if you are making it on your own. I like to use my rice cooker.

Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees.

Add your chicken to a bowl and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, cumin and oregano.

Air fry for 15-20 minutes until crispy on the outside, but still juicy on the inside.
Step 5
For the sauce, in a bowl, mix together your mayo, cilantro, lime juice, garlic powder and salt. This can be made ahead of time and kept stored in the fridge.

Season your rice with cilantro and lime juice.
