Chocolate chip protein cookies

🍪 IT’S PROTEIN DESSERT WEEK! What most people don’t realize about protein powder: it’s actually really easy to bake with! If you have the biggest sweet tooth but you also have protein goals you wanna hit, first of all I’m with you, second of all you NEED to be baking treats with your protein powder, stat! These Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies are absolutely better than the typical PB cookie in every way if you ask me. They’re chewy, chocolatey and pack a PB punch, plus they have around 12g of protein per cookie. Don’t forget to save this protein cookie 🍪 recipe for your next meal prep! Here’s how you make them 👇🏼 1.5 c oats - blended into flour 2 scoops chocolate protein powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 c pb 1 tbsp vanilla 2 eggs 1/4 c honey Chocolate chips (measure with your heart! Or about ⅓ cup if you need a guide)

Instructions

Step 1
Pre-heat your oven to 350⁰F and cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, add dry ingredients & whisk using a fork to combine. Make a small well in the center & add eggs, pb, vanilla & honey whisking again with a fork to combine. Note: The batter will be a bit thick so I prefer to use a fork as opposed to a whisk (it can get stuck in the whisk!) Last, fold in the chocolate chips using a silicone spatula. Scoop the dough with a cookie scoop & place in even rows on the baking sheet. Should make about 10-12 cookies. Smoosh the cookies down with a fork like traditional PB cookies or the back of the cookie scoop. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cookies are golden brown.
