Red Pepper Pasta w/ Shrimp ๐ŸŽž Thereโ€™s nothing better than a one pan dinner especially when itโ€™s pasta:,) Recipe: - 2 lbs shrimp - 1 lbs pasta, any pasta will do (boiled in chicken broth) * Save 1 cup pasta water (broth) after boiling your pasta Shrimp seasonings: - 1 tsp red Pepper flakes - 1 tsp garlic powder - 1 tsp onion powder - 1/2 tsp cayenne - 1 tsp Italian seasoning - 1 tbsp black pepper - Drizzle of olive oil Sauce: - 3 tbsp unsalted butter - 1/4 cup olive oil - 6-8 cloves minced garlic - 1 shallot minced - 1 can tomato paste (2 cans if you want it more concentrated) - ( your 1 cup of chicken broth) - 1 1/2 cups simmered half and half - 4 more tbsp butter (unsalted) - 1 tbsp lemon juice - 4-8 oz freshly grated parm (depending on your preference) - 1 tsp onion powder - 1 tsp garlic powder - 1/2 tbsp red pepper flakes - 1 tsp black pepper - 1 tsp Italian seasoning - salt to taste (start with a tsp) - 1/4 tsp cayenne (optional) - Handful freshly chopped parsley * TASTE* and adjust seasonings to your liking Instructions: - Boil your pasta in your chicken broth (optional*) & save 1 cup of your broth or pasta water - Next, add in your seasoned shrimp and allow to cook for about 1-2 min on each side until pink - Remove your shrimp and add in your butter and olive oil to sautรฉ your garlic and onions for about 3-4 minutes - Next, add in your red pepper paste and cook it down for about 3-5 minutes . Then go ahead and add in your broth and heavy cream - Now, add in your butter, seasonings, lemon juice, and Parmesan- mix until well combined. Add back in your shrimp and as much fresh parsley as youโ€™d like - Throw in your choice of cooked pasta:,) top with more parsley and red pepper flakes if youโ€™d like! (Always taste and adjust to preference) - And youโ€™re done ๐ŸคŽ
