Instructions
Step 1
Cook noodles according to package directions.
Step 2
Brown ground meat (we normally use ground beef, but ground turkey works just as well) with diced onions, minced garlic, and seasonings (add all to your taste, I like mine with extra pepper).
Step 3
Once meat is done, add frozen veggies and continue cooking until veggies are tender
Step 4
Once the elbows are done, drain them and return to pot. Add mushrooms (I typically use canned, but if you use fresh, I would cook them with the meat and onions) and diced tomatoes, mix thoroughly. Taste test and add some seasonings
Step 5
Once veggies are tender, drain the meat and veggie mixture, then add to noodles. Taste test again and add more seasonings if needed.
