Instructions
Step 1
In a pot boil pasta according to the package. When 5 minutes is left on the cook time add in the broccoli.
Step 2
Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining the pasta. Set aside.
Step 3
To that same pan add in the butter. Once melted add the minced garlic and cook 2-3 minutes.
Step 4
Stir in heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
Step 5
Once simmering stir in parmesan cheese and parsley until the cheese is melted.
Step 6
Taste to see if additional salt and pepper need to be added.
Step 7
Stir in pasta and broccoli until evenly coated. Add pasta water until desired consistency.
