Step 1
Preheat oven to 175 celsius

Heat 2tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the onions for 8-10 minutes, until softened and browned

Transfer onion into a tagine and top with the chicken pieces

Combine turmeric, cumin, ground coriander and salt, then mix well with the remaining 5tbsp of oil
