Buttermilk Pancakes with buttery syrup for dipping

This is my sister-in-law's buttermilk pancake recipe she makes for her son all the time! The beauty is mixing the pancake syrup with melted butter for dipping those yummy pancakes in rather than pouring over them. *Breakfast finger food!!

Instructions

Step 1
Mix the dry ingredients together.
Step 2
Add wet ingredients and mix minimally...just until everything is wet.
Step 3
Let sit for 5-10 minutes. DON'T SKIP THIS STEP!
Step 4
Heat skillet or flat-top at medium low heat.
Step 5
Use a 1/3 measuring cup to pour pancake batter.
Step 6
Flip when edges are dull and bubbles form on top. Check bottom to make sure it doesn't scorch and isn't too light before flipping.
Step 7
Add melted butter to syrup in a ramekin for dipping.
