Step 1
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and diced onions, sauté them for 1-2 minutes until the onions have softened. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Add in the uncooked pasta and coat the pasta in the oil until the pasta becomes slightly toasted.

Once toasted, pour in chicken broth and season with Italian seasoning and salt.

Let the pasta cook over medium high heat until the pasta is al-dente (about 10-12 mins). The majority of the broth should be absorbed by now.
Step 6
Turn off the heat, add 1 tbsp of butter and parmesan cheese to the pot. Stir to combine.
Step 7
Season with salt, black pepper and chili flakes (optional).
