Golden Milk Protein
By adding vanilla-flavored casein protein powder and omitting the honey, you can create a delicious, protein-packed golden milk that supports both overall health and muscle growth.
Notes
• Casein Protein: Casein is a slow-digesting protein that can help sustain amino acid levels, making it an excellent choice for muscle recovery, especially when consumed before bedtime.
• Sweetness: If you prefer some sweetness without honey, consider using a natural, zero-calorie sweetener like stevia or erythritol.
Benefits:
• Anti-Inflammatory: Turmeric and ginger provide powerful anti-inflammatory properties.
• Antioxidant: Turmeric and cinnamon are rich in antioxidants.
• Digestive Health: Ginger supports digestive health.
• Muscle Growth: Casein protein powder adds a significant protein boost, which is beneficial for muscle repair and growth.
• Enhanced Absorption: Black pepper increases the bioavailability of curcumin in turmeric.
• Healthy Fats: Coconut oil or ghee provides healthy fats that can aid in nutrient absorption.

Instructions
Step 1
Heat the Milk: In a small saucepan, heat the almond milk over medium heat until it’s warm but not boiling.
Step 2
Add Spices: Stir in the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper. If using, add coconut oil or ghee.
Step 3
Simmer: Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Add Protein Powder: Remove from heat. Let the milk cool slightly, then stir in the vanilla-flavored casein protein powder until fully dissolved. (Adding the protein powder to too-hot liquid can cause it to clump.)
Step 5
Serve: Pour the enhanced golden milk into a cup and enjoy it warm.
