Prepare the cream cheese mixture
Step 1
In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with minced garlic, garlic powder, and salt.

Cut the bagel
Step 2
Place the bagel on a flat surface and cut it into 6-8 equal sections without cutting all the way through. Optionally, you can make the cuts a little wider to allow for more cream cheese filling.

Fill the bagel
Step 3
Spread or pipe the cream cheese mixture into the cuts of the bagel, filling the divisions generously.
Prepare the garlic butter
Step 4
In another small bowl, mix the melted butter with minced garlic, honey (optional), italian seasoning, chopped parsley, salt, parmesan cheese, and black pepper.

Assemble and Bake
Step 5
Preheat your oven to 375°F.
Step 6
Dip the top of the bagels into the garlic butter mixture. You can also brush the top of the filled bagel with the garlic butter mixture.
Step 7
Place the bagel on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Step 8
Sprinkle the tops of the bagels with parmesan cheese.

Step 9
Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until the bagels are golden brown and the cream cheese is warmed through.
