Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to boil, Cook pasta to Al dente
Step 2
In large pan saute garlic in olive oil for 1 minute on medium heat
Step 3
Add the mushrooms to the pan and turn heat to medium-high.
Step 4
Let mushrooms release their water and continue to saute to brown.
Step 5
Before draining the pasta reserve a cup of the pasta water.
Step 6
Add a cup of the pasta water, salt, and pepper to the browned mushrooms, cook for a minute
Step 7
Turn heat to low and add half a cup of cream and handful of cheese, mix thoroughly to make the sauce.
Step 8
Add the pasta to the sauce pan and let it all cook to coat for 2 minutes, add black pepper to taste
