Instructions
Step 1
Put the basmati rice on to boil (25 minutes for brown rice, 10 for white rice)
Step 2
Fry the paneer until browned and then put to one side
Step 3
Heat pan and oil until hot. Add the finely chopped onion and gently fry until soft and golden
Step 4
Turn up the heat, add chunked onions, peppers and salt, cook for a couple of minutes
Step 5
Add ginger and garlic and cook for another 30 seconds
Step 6
Add the spices, tomato puree and a little bit of water and cook for another 30 seconds to create a paste like consistency
Step 7
Add the fresh tomatoes and cook for another 30 seconds
Step 8
Add the paneer
Step 9
Add the water and cook until thickened stirring every 1-2 minutes
