Step 1
Get 80g of Spam and start smashing with a fork.

Next, using scissors, dice 90g of kimchi in a bowl. The smaller the pieces, the better!

On medium heat, add some cooking oil and drop in the smashed spam. Cook lightly for 2-3 minutes, and then add your kimchi. Fry for another 2 minutes. Transfer into a bowl.

Add 1/2 Tbsp of soy sauce - make sure you taste it before though because it can be a little bit salty!

Add 1 Tbsp of mayonnaise and the mix it altogether.

Grab 300g of cooked rice and add to a bowl. Add a Tbsp of sesame oil and mix!

Start shaping the onigiris. Get a handful of rice and flatten in the middle.

Add a spoonful of the spam & kimchi mixture. Then close it with another handful of rice. Shape and mold into an onigiri, using your thumb and forefinger! (This step can take some time getting used to, so I recommend using gloves!)

Once the onigiris are made, in a plastic wrap, add 2 packets of roasted seaweed. Scrunch it up until it looks fine and dip your onigirs into the seaweed pouch.

Feel free to garnish it with a bit of the spam & kimchi mixture on top and enjoy!
