Hot and Sour Wonton Soup
4 steps
Prep:2minCook:15min
Hot and sour wonton soup. I simply take my favorite hot and sour soup base and add wontons and nori. All the optional ingredients are not included in my usual hot and sour base, but I like them for this recipe and for noodles.

¼ tspgarlic powder

¼ tsponion powder

¼ cupsoy sauce

1 TbspSriracha

1 tsproasted red chili paste

dumplings
1green onion
chopped
1 tspcornstarch
Instructions
Step 1
In a small pot (or large, depending on how many wontons you're making), add your dumplings and the white parts of your green onions. Cook while you prepare the base.
Step 2
In a small bowl or measuring cup, add all of the ingredients except the nori. You can take your time with this step to let the dumplings sit for a couple of minutes.
Step 3
After a few minutes (or when you finish the base), add it to the pot and bring it to a gentle boil for 10 minutes or until the wontons are tender and cooked through. While you cook the broth, rip up the nori into random pieces and put them into a bowl.
Step 4
Once your soup is finished, simply pour it into the bowl over your nori and enjoy!
