Baked feta and cherry tomato pasta

This is a slightly different take on the famous TikTok feta and tomato pasta, this recipe is really quick and crazy easy to make. Feel free to use diced whole tomato's to lower the cost a little as well

Instructions
Step 1
Fry the bacon in a tiny bit of oil in a pan until dark and crispy, don't be shy to let it get nice and dark. Set aside

Cook the pasta on the stove as per packet instructions keeping a cup of the pasta water aside for later

Step 3
Pre-heat oven to 190C (375F)
Step 4
In an oven dish, place the feta in the middle, place the tomatoes around the feta, sprinkle the oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper on top, and add most of the olive oil (keep some back in case you find it too much)

Step 5
Cook in the oven for 20 to 35 minutes. The longer it cooks, the sweeter it becomes.
Step 6
Take it out of the oven and break up the feta and tomato. mix it all together
Step 7
Add the pasta water little by little and mix until the desired consistency is reached. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
Step 8
Add the bacon to the sauce and finally mix with the pasta. gently stir in some basil leaves and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
