Brownies
4 ozunsweetened chocolate
⅔ cupbutter
2 cupssugar
4eggs
1 tspvanilla
1 ¼ cupsflour
1 tspbaking powder
1 tspsalt
Whipping Cream
Instructions
Chocolate Mousse
Step 1
Beat egg yolks until thick and add sugar
Step 2
Heat 1 1/2 cups whipping cream over medium heat until just hot.
Step 3
Gradually stir half of the hot cream into the egg mixture, then stir back into saucepan.
Step 4
Cook over low heat until mixture thickens (until just boiling).
Step 5
Stir in chocolate chips until just melted.
Step 6
Cover and refrigerate until chilled.
Brownies
Step 7
Whild the mousse is cooling, make the brownies. Heat oven to 350° and grease a 9" x 13" pan.
Step 8
Melt chocolate and butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Step 9
Remove from heat and mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
Step 10
Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Step 11
Bake for 30 minutes or until brownies start to pull away from the sides of the pan. Do not overbake.
Step 12
Set aside to cool.

Whip 3 cups of cream until stiff.
Step 14
Whip in the chocolate mixture.
Whipping Cream

Add whipped cream and powdered sugar into a bowl and whip until thick.
Step 16
After it is adequately whipped, add vanilla and whip just a bit more.
Assembly
Step 17
Cut brownies into small pieces.
Step 18
Layer brownies, mousse, and whipped topping (twice) in a large bowl.
Step 19
Chill for at least 4 hours or until set.
