Instructions
Step 1
First, wash your chicken, cut into smaller pieces, and then add into a mixing bowl.
Step 2
Take all your powdered seasonings and add enough of each to coat each piece of chicken.
Step 3
Dice up your bell peppers into smaller pieces and set aside.
Step 4
Take a medium sized pot and add just enough oil to cover the bottom and set the temperature to medium-high.
Step 5
Add the chicken and flip the pieces over every few minutes for about 5-10 minutes.
Step 6
Take the same bowl you used for the seasoning add about half a cup of water and then pour that into the pot. (Also add you diced bell pepper and sliced scotch bonnet in)

Allow the your chicken to simmer for about 30-45 minutes.
Step 8
During the last 15 minutes of your chicken simmering, grab another pot and start on your rice.
Step 9
Pour your desired amount into the pot and wash your rice.
Step 10
Put the pot on high to boil and add about half a tablespoon of salt and a tablespoon of butter to the rice.
Step 11
Once at a boil, turn your rice down to low to prevent overcooking.
Step 12
Stir the rice every 5 minutes until cooked.
