For the Honey Jerk Glaze
Instructions
Step 1
1. Season the chicken tenders with Chilau’s original seasoning and garlic pepper seasoning.
Step 2
2. Cover with buttermilk and add Chilau’s Red Jerk Fusion Spice paste and mix well. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least two hours.

3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, Chilau’s garlic pepper seasoning, onion powder and paprika.

4. Heat deep fryer to 375 degrees.
Step 5
5. To batter the chicken, remove the chicken from the buttermilk mixture and coat the chicken with the flour mixture. Coat the chicken again in the buttermilk mixture and once again in the flour mixture.
Step 6
6. Lay chicken on a wire rack to rest before frying.
Step 7
7. Fry chicken tenders in oil until golden brown and the tenders float to the top.
For the Honey Jerk Glaze
Step 8
1. Melt butter in a small saucepan.
Step 9
2. Add honey, Chilau’s red jerk fusion spice paste, and lime juice. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Step 10
Once your chicken has fried, place in a large bowl and pour the glaze on top of the chicken.
