Instructions

Step 1
Soak chole for 12 hours.
Step 2
Blend onion, tomato, green chilli, ginger garlic.
Step 3
Take oil in pressure cooker at medium flame.
Step 4
Add puree & salt. Salt is low because chole masala contains sodium.
Step 5
Add chole masala, dhania powder, amchur powder, haldi, red chilli powder. Cook for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Add chole. Fill water till it just covers the chole.
Step 7
Boil tea leaves in 1 katori water and strain into cooker.
Step 8
Add baking powder & green peas. Mix well.
Step 9
Cook for 8 whistles. 1 on high, 7 on low.
Step 10
Add kasuri methi and coriander.
